Mga NPA Ninakaw ang mga Relief Goods para sa Apektado ng COVID-19 Crisis!

Isang malaking dagok ang sinapit ng mga kababayan natin sa Balanginga, Eastern Samar dahil 30 New People’s Army (NPA) o Communist NPA Terrorists (CNTs) ang sumalakay sa Sitio Bangon, Barangay Guinmayohan mga alas-9 ng umaga nito lamang ika-7 ng Abril para nakawin ang mga relief goods na nakalaan para sa mga tao.

Base sa salaysay ng ilang testigo, ipinamamahagi daw ng mga barangay officials ang mga relief packs sa mga pamilya nang agawin ito ng NPA na pinamumunuan ni Gavino Guarino o mas kilala sa tawag na Mael. Dahil sa gianwa ng mga rebeldeng komunista, nabawasan ang supply ng relief package na nakatakda para sa taumbayan.

Ayon sa mga lumabas na mga ulat, sinasamantala ng NPA ang coronavirus crisis. Aalamin daw ng mga rebeldeng komunista ang distribution points ng mga relief goods para sila ang kumuha ng mga ayuda para sa tao.

Magugunita na nagkaroon ng nakasagupa ng pwersa ng gobyerno ang ilang NPA nito ding ika-7 April, 2020 sa Barangay Lakandula, Las Navas Northern Samar. Nagsumbong kasi ang taumbayan sa militar dahil sa pwersahang koleksyon ng NPA ng mga foodstuff ng mga kababayan natin sa lugar.

Kinundina ng kasundaluhan ang kahayupan ng mga NPA sapanahon ng krisis.

“This is a time to help our people and not to add to their burden. What the NPA did is pure robbery during the Holy Week. These terrorists who believe in no god robbed the poor people of their food in this time of Covid-19 crisis… We condemn this dastardly act of the NPA in Northern and Eastern Samar, and we assure our people that your soldiers will bring these criminals to justice. To the NPA, stop oppressing the people,” sabi ni Commander of 801st Infantry Brigade Colonel Camilo Z. Ligayo.

Hindi lang ito ang unang pagkakataon na gumawa ng kabalbalan ang NPA sa panahon ng covid-19 crisis. Magugunitang isang sundalo ang nasawi habang nagsasagawa ng humanitarian effort matapos umatake ang mga rebeldeng komunista.
