Nangako si Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte na idodonate niya ang kanyang buong isang taong sahod para sa mga medical frontliners.
Ayon sa article ng KAMI, gagamitin umano ng presidential daughter ang perang ito bilang isang trust fund para sa mga empleyado ng Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC).
Ayon kay Mayor Sara, ang kanyang sahod sa isang taon ay P2,144,266.
Aniya, nag-aalala siya dahil marami na umanong health workers sa SPMC na nagpositibo sa CoV1d-19.
Dagdag niya, walang katumbas na halaga ng pera ang mga sakripisyong ginagawa ng mga health workers.
“I contemplated to use this as trust fund for SPMC employees who tested positive,” sabi ni Mayor Sara.
“I know this cannot compensate for all the fear, anxiety, and exhaustion. Money cannot make up for everything but at least they would have some money that they can use,” dagdag nito.
