Japan, LIBRENG IBIBIGAY ang Avigan Drug sa Pilipinas na Tinamaan ng COVID-19!

Ayon kay Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi, iaalok ng Japan ang anti-flu drug Avigan sa 20 bansa na tinamaan ng coronavirus disease 2019 (covid-19). Ilan sa mga bansa ito ay ang Iran, Indonesia, Turkey at iba pa. Bibigyan din daw ng mga hapon ang mga bansang magpapakita ng interest sa nturang gamot.

“We will work with interested countries to expand clinical research on Avigan internationally,” sabi ni Motegi.

Magugunita na humiling na ang Department of Health (DOH) sa Japan na mabigyan ng allocation ang Pilipinas ng nasabing gamot.




“The government is trying to ask the government of Japan to allocate Avigan for the Philippines,” sabi ni Health Undersecretary Eric Domingo.

Pinaplano na ni Prime Minister Shinzo Abe na paramihin ng tatlong beses ang nakaimbak na gamot para magamit sa 2 million katao.

Ang Avigan ay opisyal na ginamit ng China para sa kanilang mga covid-19 patients.
